Welcome to

The Lily Pond

Nurturing an Ecosystem of Kindness, Empathy and Respect

Our Philosophy

In addition to providing amazing care, our bigger purpose is working in tandem with parents to:

  • Help little ones reach developmental and educational milestones

  • Reinforce a strong sense of self-love and worth, so they can grow and thrive with confidence

  • Encourage children to be of strong mind and heart

  • Foster a desire in them to create communities rooted in kindness, empathy, and respect

Together we make a beautiful ecosystem that supports its members, celebrates differences, and grows for a brighter tomorrow - much like a harmonious lily pond!

Thanks for wading into the pond!

Miss Heather says, "Hello!"

Starting this collective was not a part of my life plan, yet it's been in the making for over a decade. For the past 17 years, child care and development has been a source of great love and joy for me. Truly, some of life's biggest surprises come in the smallest packages. I've fallen in love with watching babies go from "tummy time" struggles and potty-training mishaps to becoming little people with unique personalities and quirks, their own set of hopes and dreams. It's an amazing process - one that is incredibly fulfilling to be a part of.

Beyond the experiences and the work I've done with children, I also take pride in being able to enhance the lives of parents. Peace of mind with a caregiver can be hard to come by, but parents are people too! They need some time (and sanity!) to have date nights, to work from home, to take that midday nap after running errands kid-free. Often times they'll even ask for tips and parenting-hacks
. It's genuinely been rewarding to support and help every member of the family.

All that I've poured in has spilled over and returned tenfold. I'm excited and eager to give so much more - the Collective allows me to do so. We're starting with a few and expanding to the many.

Welcome to my purpose: newborn and early childhood development, education, and empowerment. Welcome to our ecosystem rooted in kindness, empathy, and respect. Welcome to The Lily Pond!
